Beauty is More Than Skin Deep

All women are beautiful. Inner beauty is just as, or even more important than outer beauty. No matter how hard you try, no matter what products you buy, no matter how many plastic surgeries you have, as we age, our looks will eventually fade away. Inner beauty can be cultivated and nourished to last a lifetime. Inner beauty shines through and enhances outer beauty. As women, we need to cultivate that inner beauty more, then our outer beauty will come through. Enhanced outer beauty does nothing to help our inner beauty, but the opposite is true. Enhanced inner beauty illuminates out to show the real deal.
We can enhance our inner beauty by living the life that we were created to live. That inner beauty starts with knowing who we are and "Whose" we are. Woman was formed from Adams rib and she was created to be a help-meet for man. God created woman for a purpose; that purpose being to help man. In this day of women's rights and women's equality, we need to not lose sight of God's word and why he created woman. We want to be equal to man, we don't want to be a man. We are just as important in the creation of this world as man. We want to be recognized for our strengths, not our weaknesses. Woman was created with strength not parallel to man's. Cultivating the spirits of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness and grace cultivates the inner beauty that cannot compare to outer beauty! Every woman can be beautiful. We need to turn our daily beauty regimen around and spend more time working on our inner qualities. That inner beauty will shine through while we work on the outside. Women are nurturers, by nature, and we need to nurture ourselves first, so that we can healthily nurture others. As we mature and experience life, women begin to see that inner beauty is so much more important to us. We know that outer looks can be enhanced and camouflaged with cosmetics and clothes; however, we eventually come to the realization that the inner beauty has already taken place. We realize that we no longer think that outer beauty is that important. We acknowledge to ourselves and to the world around us that we are confident in the inner beauty that has taken place within us. Young women, you have so much to look forward to. Life and beauty is a journey. Enjoy the journey to the realization that beauty is much more than skin deep. About the AuthorI'm now retired after working in the corporate world for thirty nine years.
